SOCIAL SERVICES

Social services represent one of the cornerstones of every state. Their purpose is to provide help and assistance to people who find themselves in a difficult position. Czechia is not falling behind in this regard.

The objective of the Czech social system is to ensure nobody feels forgotten.

Most social services are coordinated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. This ministry manages a network of Employment Centers throughout the country, facilitates family policy (maternity leave etc.) and provides help to people with special needs. Social services also include pensions, an issue of critical importance not only in Czechia due to the ageing population and lower birth rate. For that reason, Czechia has implemented a multi-pillar pension system. The objective of the Czech social system is to ensure nobody feels forgotten.
