SECURITY COOPERATION

Czechia is a responsible country that strives toward a cooperative and inclusive world security architecture. To that end, Czechia promotes all manners of security cooperation, whether it is bilateral or multilateral, with emphasis on the latter.

Czechia’s membership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the European Union (EU), the United Nations (UN), and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) form the basis of our security and that of our partners.

On the local level, Czech police cooperate in a variety of regional schemes that help combat drug trafficking, illegal migration, and cross-border crime.
