Relative to its size, Czechia is among largest export economies in the world, exporting three fourths of its output. The top exports of Czechia include cars, vehicle parts, computers, broadcasting equipment, and office machine parts. Its top imports are machinery, equipment and related components, raw materials, fuels, and chemicals.

Czechia has been a WTO member since 1 January 1995. As of 1 May 2004, Czechia has also been a member state of the European Union (EU). All EU member states are WTO members.

The top export destinations of Czechia are Germany, Slovakia, Poland, France, and the United Kingdom. The top countries from which it sources imports are Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Italy.
