CZECH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The Czech Development Agency is a state organization founded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The main goals of the Agency are reducing poverty, improving quality of life, and supporting sustainable development.

The Czech Development Agency identifies six countries of highest priority where development programs are pursued over the long term. They are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, and Zambia.

Every year the Czech Development Agency organizes a summer school in Olomouc on the topic of development cooperation.

The summer school lasts about one week and is aimed at high school students and university students. The program includes seminars and workshops as well as outdoor activities.
