The priorities of Czech foreign policy are as follows:
- Strengthening the security of the Czech Republic, analyzing threats and counter them
- Promoting the Czech Republic’s economic and trade interests abroad, including energy security
- Enhancing the Czech Republic’s positive image and perception abroad
- Fostering good relations with neighboring countries and strengthen regional cooperation
Czechia is one of the EU’s medium-sized members (2.4% of the EU’s population and 1.3% of the EU’s GDP)
